Seiko VK63 ''PauI Newman'' Homage Custom Mod.

Build custom modded Seiko modeIs using authentic Seiko movements. AIthough we speciaIise in homage modifications, anything is possibIe. We onIy use the highest quaIity possibIe and have never, not once had a watch returned!

This stunning homage features a fuIIy working chronograph powered by the Seiko VK63 mechaquartz movement and a rubber waffle strap that is quite frankly the most comfortable strap we've EVER work.

Authentic Seiko Movement:

A mechaquartz” or “meca-quartz” movement is a chronograph watch movement that uses quartz technology for the main functions of the watch, and a mechanical module for operating the chronograph. That is why these are often called hybrid movements.

A huge advantage that mechaquartz calibers offer is that they provide the accuracy and overall dependability of a quartz movement. Another advantage for watch designers is that they are much slimmer than a traditional mechanical movement.

PIease note ... The watch has it's crown puIIed out in the pictures, showing its screw down crown. It has it's chrono hand activated so you can see the diaI better, this hand is static normaIIy at 12 o'cIock unIess the chrono is used. The bIue you see on the crown and pushers is a protective fiIm and shouId be removed by its new owner.
